Mark Stone earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University (FIU) and worked in industry for several years before joining City Labs in 2022 as a Senior Scientist.

With expertise in semiconductor fabrication, spintronics, and plasma-based thermionics, he focuses on enhancing the performance of tritium-based betavoltaics and integrating them into diverse applications. Beyond research and development, Dr. Stone contributes to mechanical design, vendor management, prototyping, and project management at City Labs.
