Jesse Grant is City Labs’ mechanical and design engineer. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University in 2013, focusing on electronics packaging and thermodynamics.

Jesse began his professional journey at City Labs Inc. in 2011, contributing his mechanical engineering expertise to diverse projects in packaging, semiconductors, metal hydrides, and system design. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, where his thesis focuses on structural reactive materials, fragmentation, and combustion.

The future of innovation lies not just in discovering new materials but in understanding and manipulating the materials we already have to better suit our needs and protect our world.
